The hotel was adequate. We thought the price was too high for the services and location offered.
We paid more for a room with a view which ended up being a view of a basketball court. We would not recommend this hotel to friends.

Staff were extremely helpful and spoke very good english. With the exception of a somewhat restricted continental breakfast, we really couldn't fault this place. Spotlessly clean and staff couldn't do enough to help. There is a lovely courtyard for smokers, with a mosquito net, candles, and even a plug-in anti-mosquito gel. I can see why you'd want to avoid room 007 (as mentioned in a previous report) as it is right by the lift shaft, but our room was excellent in every respect, with a stunning milti-jet shower in a beautiful bathroom. Don't pay extra for a canal view - it's a tiny siding, and you see canals all day anyway in Venice!

Just one complaint - I booked and paid for a deluxe room with lagoon view - I did not get a room with a lagoon view.
